BTS member Kim Taehyung, who is currently serving in the South Korean military, recently spoke with Genie's Kitchen 2 director Na Young-seok. Allkpop reports that Kim Taehyung, popularly known as V, spoke to the director in a “depressed voice.” V was one of the interns on Genie's Kitchen, but Go Min-si is now taking his place in season 2 of the show. What did Taehyung say to the show's director?
Yongseok recently reviewed the first episode of “Genie's Kitchen 2” on a YouTube livestream. Regarding Taehyung, Yongseok said, “Apparently, you can use cell phones in the military these days. After the first episode aired, Taehyung called me. In a very depressed voice, he asked me, 'Is Go Min-si really that good?'”
Yongseok gets a call from Taehyung.
He added, “So I replied, 'Don't worry, Taehyung. You've been working hard and Minsi is working hard too. When you come back, come with us again and the puzzle will be completed. It'll get even more interesting then. For those who are worried, Taehyung is doing well in the army. He calls me every now and then and says the people over there are really nice. He's doing well and I think he'll be healthy.'”
