Emerging Playwrights will hold their annual spring luncheon tribute on Tuesday, May 14th at the New York Marriott Marquis. A beloved tradition in the theater community, this year's luncheon will honor Michael Greif, the acclaimed director of this season's films “The Days of Wine and Roses,” “The Notebook,” and “Hell's Kitchen.” Masu. At this year's luncheon, a new playwright will present Concord Theatricals with the inaugural Konecki Award. Named after board president Isabel Konecki and her husband, renowned entertainment lawyer Ron Konecki, beloved of emerging playwrights, the Konecki Award recognizes passion, dedication, excellence, and leadership in the field. It recognizes people in the theater and entertainment industry for their contributions.
