Nimbus' Chicago store is located at 820 North Orleans Street in River North and spans more than 19,000 square feet. Formerly a culinary school, Nimbus River North features 17 kitchen units ranging from 400 square feet to 1,600 square feet, a 246-foot commercial hood with an array of high-end appliances, and a 246-foot commercial hood for food business members and the surrounding community. There is a large event space that allows for in-person interaction. . The facility also features an array of equipment to streamline food production and distribution. This includes temperature-controlled rooms for precision food preparation, packaging stations optimized for consumer packaged goods, extensive dry, refrigerated, and frozen storage areas, and on-site customer parking. A freight elevator and a shipping room dedicated to shipping orders.
