Dollar General shoppers are in for a big treat this summer thanks to our favorite country icon, Dolly Parton: Now, for a limited time, the store is launching a collection of kitchenware and home goods inspired by Parton's rural upbringing in the Smoky Mountains, bringing her legend and style into your home.
Dollar General is selling about 50 new items for the home and kitchen. All items are priced between $1 and $10, with most items under $5. These items include pie plates, butterfly-shaped measuring cups and jars, rolling pins, baskets, candles, photo frames, sweet tea pitchers, napkin holders, towels, placemats and tablecloths, hot pads, frying pans, guitar-shaped spoon rests, and of course, mugs with Dolly Parton's famous lyrics “Cup of ambition” and “If you see someone without a smile, give 'em yours.”
According to Dollar General's website, the line of kitchen appliances and home decor “is designed to add a touch of country elegance to your home,” and shoppers are loving it, expressing their excitement about the new collaboration after Dollar General announced the line. “Wow I'm so impressed,” one shopper wrote. “I want them all. I'm starting to look,” another wrote.
“Our shared humble beginnings together make this a special program for Dollar General, and we're thrilled to be able to offer Dollar General customers this exclusive collection curated by one of country music's most iconic stars,” Emily Taylor, Dollar General's executive vice president and chief merchandising officer, said in a recent press release.
The entire collection will be available at 20,000 Dollar General stores across 48 states starting mid-July. You can also browse the collection now on the Dollar General website or app. But hurry: Dollar General will only be selling this collection for a limited time while supplies last.
