The 15th Annual Nina Menasha Emergency Association Kitchen Tour will be held at Nina and Menasha's home on April 25th. Five homes will be open to the public during the tour from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Participants will enjoy demonstrations and tastings from local eateries during the tour. New this year is a lunch or appetizer tasting dinner at Ridgway Country Club. This is an additional ticket that can only be purchased online.
From modern farmhouses to European cottages and everything in between, we offer a mix of innovatively designed and renovated homes that impress with their attention to detail and beautiful décor. As always, each home will feature unique demonstrations and tastings from local eateries such as Thunderbird Bakery, Santé Wine Bar and Bistro, and Rusted Roost Restaurant and Bar.
NMES has been part of the Nina Menasha community since 1906, when it began as an effort to help those affected by the San Francisco earthquake. The organization eventually focused on local initiatives such as the Neenah Hospital Maternity Ward, the Visiting Nurse Association, and the Neenah Library. Initiatives the group provides include emergency relief, child care, back-to-school fairs, community care, and scholarship programs.

Junior Youth of the Year selected at Boys & Girls Club event
The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Fox Valley will hold its Junior Youth of the Year event on April 25th at the Appleton Club, 160 S. Badger Ave.
Junior Youth of the Year is a leadership preparation program for youth ages 10 to 14 offered through the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Fox Valley. This program teaches fundamental leadership knowledge and skills to build confidence and overcome challenges.
The event begins at 5:30 p.m., and attendees will be able to learn more about each candidate through displays. Music and light refreshments will also be provided. The talks will begin at 6pm and the Junior Youth of the Year winner will be announced at the end of the program. This year she had 13 candidates and the committee selected five finalists.
This event is free and open to the public, and no RSVP is required.

Atlas will hold annual Earth Day celebration on April 27th
Atlas Science Center will hold its annual Earth Day celebration on April 27th. The center opens at 11 a.m. to celebrate his STEM in Earth Day style.
In attendance will be representatives from the American Chemical Society, Wisconsin DNR, Ahlstrom Paper, Menominee Tribal Enterprises, and special guest MsPlanet from Seed Paper Lab. Atlas will be handing out 100 white spruce seedlings for guests to plant at home from 1 p.m.
There will be hands-on experiments and lectures throughout the day. In between activities, you can participate in an Earth Day-themed scavenger hunt. Those who finish the hunt can win prizes.
Admission is $10 for adults and children 3 and older and $7 for seniors and military. If you have an EBT card, admission to the Museum for All is $1. All presentations and activities are included in the admission price.
Tickets for Nina's summer performance go on sale May 1st.
Riverside Players will present Ken Ludwig's “Lend Me the Sopranos” in Theater in the Park's 68th season. Tickets go on sale May 1st.
The show, directed by John Chan, will be performed July 18-21 and July 25-28 at 7:30 p.m. This comedy is rated PG13.

Riverside Park is located at 500 E. Wisconsin Ave. in Neenah. The stage is set in an outdoor park shelter with a roof, but the sides are exposed. Reserved seating is available in padded chairs on risers. If you require accessible seating, please call the office to purchase tickets.
