Freshëns Fresh Food Kitchen, a casual eatery, will open in the Fall 2024 semester in the Engineering Collaborative Research and Education Building (EcoRE), originally known as West 1.
The restaurant will offer nutritious meals such as grilled flatbreads, rice bowls, acai bowls, salads and smoothies. All dishes are served in a made-to-order format, allowing customers to fully customize their meals, including vegetarian, gluten-free and vegan options. You can also purchase select Penn State Bakery products and Starbucks coffee and drinks.
“We are honored to be selected as Penn State's dining option and are excited to provide our campus community with healthy and delicious options to fuel their day,” said Christina, Vice President of Marketing and Digital Content at Freshëns. Jockwig said in a release. .
There are 12 Freshen locations in Pennsylvania, including Pitt, Lock Haven and Shippensburg University.
Freshëns accepts LionCash, Campus Meal Plan, and Commuter Meal Plan.
