The first “Get Out of the Kitchen” Pickleball Fundraiser will be held on Sunday, April 28th, directly in front of Webster Groves High School on Selma Avenue.
The tournament, sponsored by the Webster Groves High School Parents Club, will be held from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., with exact team times to be announced prior to the event.
The tournament will be held rain or shine and will be moved to the gymnasium if necessary. The deadline to register for the tournament is Thursday, April 18th. The cost is $50 per individual and $100 for a two-person team.
Learn-to-play sessions with professional instruction and supervised play. Each team will play against the other teams in their round-robin group and, if they qualify, advance to the championship playoffs. There will be prizes and prizes for the winners.
This tournament is open to all skill levels, and participants are encouraged to bring a picnic lunch and cooler to enjoy. There will also be music and prizes. The Webster Groves High School Pickleball Club operates a light concession where all food profits are donated to the club.
Each team will receive a $25 gift card to “step out of the kitchen” and eat at a local restaurant.
