JAKARTA – It has been confirmed that variety show “Genie's Kitchen” will continue with a second season. “Genie's Kitchen 2” will see the famous actor once again take on the role of managing a Korean restaurant overseas.
Season 1 of “Genie's Kitchen” featured Lee Seo-jin, Jung Yu-mi, Park Seo-joon, Choi Woo-sik, and V BTS, who run a Korean street food restaurant in Bucalar, Mexico. V BTS did not participate in the latest season due to his mandatory military service.
Additionally, actor Go Min-si joined the internship as a new member. In the short teaser released on Prime Video today, Monday, June 3rd, Go Min-si appears for the first time with the Jinny's Kitchen members.
This time, they'll be running a Korean restaurant in Reykjavnk, Iceland. There will be exciting changes this season, including new roles, new menu items, and changes in the kitchen.
The 56-second teaser shows five actors dressed in white posing together to the Guns N' Roses song “Sweet Child O' Mine.” A few seconds later, they sit exhausted on the floor.
“It's very tiring,” Park Seo-joon said, expressionless.
Furthermore, “Genie's Kitchen 2” was Go Min-si's first variety show since she became known as an actress. This year, she has confirmed her appearances in “Sweet Home 3” and “Frog.”
“Jinny's Kitchen 2” will premiere on Prime Video every Friday starting June 28th.
