A New Orleans restaurant is suing Gordon Ramsay after a video of him vomiting inside the restaurant was reposted on Facebook.

While much of the episode was spent with Gordon storming into restaurants and berating staff, one thing is for sure – he never took a gentle approach.
The show has proven popular with fans, and clips from it still keep resurfacing on social media accounts, despite it not airing after 2023.
And a New Orleans restaurant complained that a video showing Gordon sniffing a container of shrimp and vomiting in the restaurant was reposted on Facebook in 2018.

Oceana Grill said the footage was over-embellished for the show and did not state that it happened seven years ago.
The video, taken from the season finale that aired in 2011, was available on Facebook for 24 hours before being removed.
The video has been viewed by 1.5 million people, and Ocean Grill is suing Gordon, claiming the video is misleading.
Gordon was also filmed discovering three dead rats in a restaurant as part of the episode.
Cajun Conti, the company that owns Oceana Grill, said in a statement that “none of the events described above were real and have been fabricated and orchestrated by Defendants to create drama for their show.”
Television network Fox also reportedly broke a contract with the restaurant that stipulated it would pay the network $10,000 for each future episode of Oceana Grill it aired, and that reruns of the episodes would include updates on the restaurant's current situation.

The lawsuit states that the show portrayed the restaurant in a “negative light” and, in fairness, Kitchen nightmare.
“During the filming of the episode, defendants made every effort to over-dramatize and fabricate the restaurant's problems in order to boost ratings,” the lawsuit states.
“The footage portrayed a charming restaurant as a failing, unsanitary and poorly managed establishment and portrayed Oceana and its employees in a purposefully and demonstrably false and negative light.”
The clip appears to have been deleted Kitchen nightmare Page, and the restaurant, are still thriving several years later.
