Hell's Kitchen celebrates 100th show on Broadway

Yesterday, July 17th, the Hell's Kitchen theater company celebrated its 100th Broadway show with a beautiful cake commemorating the achievement and a message from 16-time Grammy Award winner Alicia Keys.

Ali is a passionate 17-year-old girl searching for freedom, passion and a place in her world. Watching her find those things is a New York coming-of-age story unlike anything she's ever experienced before. Hell's Kitchen is a new musical from 16-time Grammy Award winner Alicia Keys, whose songs and experiences growing up in New York City inspired the Broadway story.

Oppressed by her rebellious and overprotective single mother, Ali is lost, but when she meets her mentor, a neighbor, she opens her heart and mind to the power of the piano. Set to 90s rhythms, “Hell's Kitchen” is a mother-daughter love story about finding yourself, your purpose, and a community that encourages you. Relive where your dreams began.

The cast includes Shoshana Bean, Brandon Victor Dixon, Keshia Lewis, Chris Lee and Maleah Joy Moon. Hell's Kitchen is directed by four-time Tony nominee Michael Greif, choreographed by Tony nominee Camille A. Brown and written by Pulitzer Prize finalist Christopher Diaz, and features new songs and hits from Keys.
