A “horrifying” new home with a “kitchen floor” in the front garden has been slammed for having serious design flaws.
Critics slammed the facility after the photo was shared on social media, viewed by 16 million people and received more than 4,000 replies in less than seven days.
“I found a video of someone showing off their new home. If you see anything wrong, let me know,” one man wrote on X, formerly Twitter.
However, critics quickly recognized its failure, describing the house as “depressing” and saying they “hated it”.
As many X users have been quick to point out, the driveway that looks like a “kitchen floor” leads to the front door, not the garage.
So, if your homeowner has a car, they may have a hard time getting it into their driveway every night, not to mention that your lawn will definitely be damaged.
One person asked, “Why is the kitchen floor outside, aside from the garage?”, to which the original poster joked, “That's the airfryer driveway.”
The second reason is: “To be honest, I don't know anyone (in the UK at least) who parks in their garage.
“That's what driveways are for. Garages are for storing things you plan on using someday.”
Meanwhile, a third claimed: “Nothing is wrong, the owner drives a tractor,” while a fourth quipped: “That garage is for parking the lawn mower in the first place.”
Another added: “Seems like grass driveways are popular right now?” and “Mop the driveway.'' That's the future.''
Another person jokingly said: “In the winter, you can just skate to your car parked on the street.”
But it's not just the non-functioning driveway that's causing the commotion. X users picked out some other parts of the strange new build that they weren't happy with.
One person pointed out, “Apart from the fact that it's depressing and hideous, I'd choose the fact that the middle window doesn't line up exactly with the door below.”
Another added: “Aren't the windows installed upside down?” There seems to be something on the outside that you can grab to open and close.
Another X user claimed that the “window is inside out and upside down,” while another joked: “Scary window.”
Another joked: “I hate everything about this.” Everything,” and “I’ll let you know when I get it right,” along with a laughing emoji.
Someone else chimed in: “Garages are ridiculous.” The uneven gaps between the windows can also be annoying, making it easy to get your head stuck in them.
“It looks like interior tiles are being used for the driveway.”
On the other hand, others said, “Good luck putting the car in the garage,” and “He said he wouldn't waste the extra floor tiles and use them for the driveway.”
Another said: “I wish I had a four-wheel drive to get into the garage…that garden would be destroyed.”
