Jersey Social, a bar and restaurant known for redefining mixology with craft cocktails, recently closed at the end of March at 837 Jersey Avenue, on the ground floor of Cast Iron Lofts. Further investigation revealed the business' private Instagram account @thehoreshoejc and a website that appears to be still under construction. On its Instagram account, The Horseshoe Kitchen + Bar describes itself as a “neighborhood place” serving “upscale and eclectic cuisine.”
A source close to the restaurant said. hoboken girls In early April, the owners of the now-closed Jersey Social announced they were opening a new concept store. We cannot confirm if The Horseshoe Kitchen + Bar is this new concept, but we have reached out to both Jersey Social and The Horseshoe Kitchen + Bar and will update this article as we hear more.

Earlier this spring, a sign was posted in the window of Jersey Social's Jersey Avenue store:
“Jersey Social has permanently closed as of Saturday, March 30th. Thank you for your support over the past five years! The restaurant, from New York-based RB Hospitality Group, found a home in 2019 under the Cast Iron Lofts on the corner of 18th Street and Jersey Avenue. Previously, the space was home to Brewshot Cafe, owned by friend Arun Nanda, who has partnered with RB Hospitality. Group owner Rajesh Bhardwaj breaks ground on Jersey Social.
Jersey Social exuded a chic, intimate atmosphere with exposed ceilings and modern dim lighting. The bar had spacious seating and his two TVs to watch the latest matches, and didn't interfere with the upscale, modern decor. Besides the high seating, there were plenty of options for tables and booths, as well as a private room tucked away to the right of the bar.
Food and drink were the focal point of this stylish establishment. From classic drinks to signature specials, the menu did not disappoint.
First on the table was homemade popcorn. The menu offers a variety of options, from share plates to hearty meals, perfect for those looking for a full dinner or snack.
Share plate options at Jersey Social included cauliflower poppers, shrimp skewers, hearty nachos, and chicken wings. Highlights from the main plate section include burgers, chicken parmesan, roasted salmon, chicken Caesar wrap, buffalo chicken pizza, and more. The restaurant's signature burger, called the Social Burger, consisted of Angus chuck, lettuce, tomato, cheese, caramelized onions, bacon, social sauce, and fries.
