One outside-the-box interiors guru has found a creative and budget-friendly way to add style and storage to her space.
Her unusual combination may have been different, but it was also decorative.
“We think this Walmart interior hack will shock you,” said Emma Villaneda (@thecraftedstudioco).
Her quest for luxury-looking items didn't start or even end in the home section.
“I grabbed a giant outdoor planter and a pizza pan from the kitchen aisle,” she said.
The two items may not have seemed to go together, but she had a way of going wild with the decor.
When Emily got everything home, she was surprised at how light it was, especially the large planter.
She finally revealed how kitchen items fit into the high-end decor equation.
“Pizza pans fit perfectly on top of these planters and you can create your own little DIY end table,” she said.
This table also had an amazing storage element in that you could fold a blanket inside. She was still working on ideas.
She added her own decorative elements, such as vases, to the top of the piece.
“I love the design of the planter. I think it feels very classy and you can also store things inside,” she said.
Just in case this table isn't to your taste, she had one more DIY trick up her sleeve.
Back at Walmart, she found a tall wicker planter with three legs and a smaller pizza pan to sit on top of.
This time she placed the table next to the sofa, but she also liked the idea of placing it next to the bed as a nightstand.
And most importantly, there was storage space too.
The unconventional kitchen she found was also affordable. Walmart's Mainstays 16-inch nonstick pizza pan retails for $5.99.
Her fans also loved this unconventional purchase.
“A creative and cost-effective idea, especially for young people looking to furnish their first home!” said one follower.
“I love it!” she replied.
“So clever!” said another viewer.
