A DIY fan has blown everyone's minds after sharing how he transformed a town hall kitchen for just £14.
A clever woman was tired of her drab worktop, so she decided to brighten it up with B&M self-adhesive flooring on a budget.
The woman, who posts under the username Homewithnumber7, is part of a huge community of DIY fiends who make council houses look like mansions on the cheap.
She explains in the video that the hack was “better than I expected,” and everyone agrees it's great.

She approaches the vinyl, revealing its textured pattern. It looks exactly like natural wood.
Carefully cut, measure, and smooth the vinyl on your work surface, focusing on the awkward edges between the sink and the backsplash.
She uses the back of a knife to line up the ingredients in the sink and uses scissors to trim the edges.
Finally, she moves on to the good part. A perfectly transformed “wooden” kitchen worktop with no visible air bubbles or creases.
It's so smooth that you won't even notice it's vinyl. And the best part is that the vinyl costs just £14 a roll.
The woman said she had “really made a difference” in her space and inspired hundreds of others to do the same.

The hack into the woman's worktop was just the beginning of her parliamentary reshuffle.
She painted the already boring white walls with a biscuit-colored gloss and used Polyfila to smooth out the bumps and irregularities left by the previous tenants.
It doesn't end with just the kitchen.
When she moved in, her living room had ugly black floor tiles, an old fireplace, and dirty plaster walls.
Within weeks, she transformed the room into a tranquil haven with plush brown carpet, fresh sofas, and modern high street accessories.
The little girl's bedroom was also a mess, with unpainted walls and bare floorboards that were unsafe for little feet.
The DIY guru installed new carpet, used cute stencils and purple paint to transform the space into a bedroom fit for a princess.
