An interiors expert uses his design skills to list three things he would never include in his work.
She specifically advised on kitchen décor choices that are a great addition to any home.
Persian interior designer Nina Takesh (@ninatakeshofficial) doesn't hold back when it comes to her opinions.
She became a voice for many in her industry when she posted a TikTok video listing things that people in her profession should “never, ever do at home.”
“If you're doing any of those three things, please don't judge. Hats off to you,” she said.
First on the list were pots and pans on display.

“No matter how you decorate your pots and pans, they never look good. Plus, they get dirty and don't look good,” she explained.
Even if I bought all the posts and pans new. She reiterated that she doesn't look good because she's “busy, crowded, and an eyesore.”
Next is the style of hanging plants.
She said she received several messages about plants from viewers, many of whom said they'd rather “come down and live in a cool planter” than hang them from the ceiling.
As for the final “design don't,” Nina laid down the law regarding having damaged furniture in your living space.
“If you have something this distracting in your home, it should be removed immediately. In fact, it should be returned to the flea market where it came from,” she said.
Nina explained that the reason for this was that this room was defined by this work.
“It's a focal point because it's so eye-catching. You don't want it to be too much of a focal point in the room,” she added.
Not everyone was a fan of her point of view and made it clear in the comments.
“She's why I never hire an interior designer, even if I can afford it. Just do what makes you happy,” one viewer commented.
“I think people should decorate their homes the way they want,” another wrote.
“As an interior designer, I think all three of these options can be executed tastefully depending on the situation,” the woman said.
