SEATTLE — Mattia Kitchen, a native of Orcas Island in western Washington, has been nominated for a 2024 James Beard Award.

Matia's Executive Chef Adams was nominated for Best Chef in the Northwest and Pacific Region. Mattia is known for its experimental and sustainable rotating menu.
Matia is located at 382 Prune Alley in East Sound and is open for dinner Thursday through Sunday from 5 to 9 p.m.
First awarded in 1991, the James Beard Awards recognize achievement in the culinary arts and commitment to equity, community, and sustainability. These are among the most prestigious honors in the restaurant industry.
The 2024 winners will be announced at a ceremony in Chicago on June 10th.
