The dubbing company already has numerous clients in the region but is looking to grow further through its new production center in Madrid.
Kitchen's new production site in Madrid, Spain, is a platform the company has established to strengthen its European operations, said Julie Beneteau, international sales director. TV News First day of Budapest Natpe.
“We are trying to focus on our European business, which is why we have a sales office in the UK and a big production base in Madrid,” said the executive, who is based in The Kitchen's London office.
According to Beneteau, the well-known dubbing company has clients in the region such as ZDF, France Television, Mediatune, the BBC and Viacom.
Meeting with colleagues from The Kitchen Hungary at Natpe, the executive said he expected to add many customers to the European portfolio.
Gábor Somogyi, Managing Director of The Kitchen Hungary, commented that this year they are celebrating the opening of the new studio and finalizing the details of the TPN license. “This also means that we have sufficient growth capacity to meet the future needs of our customers,” he said.
Meanwhile, Lajos Petro, Managing Partner of The Kitchen Hungary, pointed out that the company has new facilities with excellent technical capabilities: “We can shoot the best feature films in Hungary and we are TPI certified, so we hope big studios will cooperate with us,” he concluded.
