July 9, 2024 // Franchising.com // Williamsburg, VA – The Craig and Shelley Smith family, owners of Williamsburg, Virginia-based Kitchen Tune-Up serving Hampton Roads-New Kent County, were recently honored as “Frannies of the Year” at the company’s national reunion, held June 18-21 in Minneapolis.
The “Frannie of the Year” award is the highest honor bestowed at Kitchen Tune-Up's national alumni association and is presented to the top franchisee across the system. The Smiths earned the title for their outstanding performance in 2023, including sales, providing exceptional customer service and delivering exceptional service.
“We love recognizing and celebrating the achievements of our franchisees,” said Heidi Morrissey, president of Kitchen Tune-Up. “Each store puts so much effort into their business and strives to make every project the best it's ever been, and we're excited to meet with them and honor their outstanding performers in 2023. Craig, Shelley, and their dedicated family and team have always embodied the Kitchen Tune-Up spirit and proven themselves to be one of our strongest franchisees. They continue to grow every year while always providing excellent customer service. In addition to updating and enhancing kitchens for their customers, they're always looking to offer their expertise to other franchisees.”
In addition to Frannie of the Year, Kitchen Tune Up and Bath Tune Up celebrated a number of awards in 2023, including the National Customer Service Award, Rising Star Award and Fast Track Award. The theme of the conference was “Level Up”, providing owners with the opportunity to network and develop their expertise in the kitchen and bathroom remodelling industry.
