tvN's “Genie's Kitchen 2” has released a poster and a fun new teaser!
“Jinny's Kitchen 2” is a show that explores the inner workings of a Korean restaurant led by a dedicated boss and passionate employees.
This time, the restaurant's second store will open in Iceland and welcome customers. CEO Lee Seo-jin, Jung Yu-mi, Park Seo-joon, Choi Woo-sik, and new staff member Go Min-si will be serving piping hot Gomtang, a traditional Korean beef bone soup, in the cold Icelandic wind. Their goal is not only to warm the cold, but also to melt the hearts of customers.
The newly released poster shows the vibrant smiles of all five cast members, giving a glimpse of their close teamwork and family-like atmosphere.
The accompanying teaser introduces the unique chefs of “Seojin Tteukbaegi.” This season, the focus has shifted from “profit-first” to “customer-first,” and a new twist is that the head chef will be replaced every day.
First, Choi Woo-sik brought a playful energy as the head chef for the day, humorously saying, “You know that the head chef doesn't usually do much work, right?” and patting Lee Seo-jin on the back. Meanwhile, Jung Yu-mi, who has eight years of experience in “Youn's Kitchen,” “Youn's Stay,” and “Genie's Kitchen,” showed off her veteran skills as she impressed with her steady pace and supportive attitude.
Park Seo-joon then displays incredible efficiency, operating six burners simultaneously, chopping ten scallions at once, and adjusting the tap with both hands.
Rookie Go Min-si's enthusiasm, quick movements and ability to find problems have drawn attention and praise from her seniors, including Choi Woo-sik, who joked, “You practiced this, right?”
Finally, the video shows Lee Seo-jin as a seasoned leader, skillfully overseeing operations and managing the kitchen. As time goes on, the restaurant experiences an unexpected increase in customer numbers, with the queue stretching all the way around. Jung Yu-mi comments, “I think we've achieved our highest profits ever, surpassing 'Youn's Kitchen.'”
