Connor Dunkley, 26, was arrested on suspicion of aggravated murder and attempted murder after the shooting that killed Farrah Cloninger and injured Michael Kitchen.
PUTNAM COUNTY, Ohio — The community is processing the deadly shooting that occurred in Leipsic on Thursday.
Some people are still struggling to find the right words as they process the Kitchen Family Truck shooting.
“This is not a good example for our community,” Leipsic resident Stephen Courtney said. “It just takes a toll.”
According to the Putnam County Sheriff's Office, 26-year-old Connor Dunkley shot and killed Farrah Cloninger, 30, and Michael Kitchen, 54, on the premises of a trucking company just after 4 p.m. Thursday. ) was injured.

Kitchen is being treated for his injuries, but the relationship between the suspect and the victim is unknown at this time.
“We just need everyone to come together and pray and hope that everything is okay and that the whole family can come together,” said Kelsey Schroeder, program director at the Leipsic Community Center. “It's never easy to lose someone, so I hope they have family and friends who are willing to be there for everyone.”
Dunkley was arraigned this morning in Putnam County Municipal Court and is charged with attempted murder, murder and aggravated murder. His bond is set at $1 million.
The trucking company released a statement on Facebook Friday morning saying, “Our hearts are heavy as we mourn the loss of our beloved colleague Farrah and stand together to support Michael's recovery. Farrah's light is ours. She will be an inspiration to everyone and we will miss her.” There is a huge hole in our and our team's hearts, and we send our deepest condolences to her family, friends, and everyone who knew her. ”
Leipsic community members conveyed a similar message to affected families, but also expressed the need for people to acknowledge when help is needed.
“We need to get more awareness so things like this don't happen more often,” Courtney said.
