Well, that wasn't the case last year, or the year before that, so you're right, who knows how they'll change that.
I did well last year when the ruts were deep, but I've also done well when the ruts weren't so deep. I don't know, I like it there, and it seems like the road gets slower and rougher as you get closer to the East Coast.
Yeah, I came down that hill and there were some guys [Chase] Sexton looked like he was going to get away with the 450. It was a scary moment.
Jett definitely crashed. I don't know if he lost his mind or not. Even Heiden crashed even though he was trying to push the limit. This is one of those tracks where you either are motivated or you're not. I just thought, 'Hey, I'm third, this is good for today.' Maybe I just need to be a little more courageous. I don't know.
This week, he needs to grow. Sexton is 40 years old.Number First of all, it's unbelievable.
Yeah, I'm really happy. Of course, we've been training together a little bit, but he needed that. Honestly, if I was the rest of the 450 class, I'd be pretty worried, because he tends to be a little bit crazy mentally, so if he did that? Yeah, that would be a big problem.
Well done, a good start to the season, after four motos are you happy?
I'm very happy. Of course, the goal is to be there until the end. If I can get 40 or more points every weekend, I think I can be there until the end. That's my game plan.
Racer X: Casey Cochran, I wrote about you last week. I thought you had a great run in Pala. No one would have noticed because you were last. And then you carried that form all the way here. First of all, you said you'd never been here before, and then I heard you were the fastest in qualifying?
Casey Cochran: Yeah, it was my first time here. It was my first time here and it was the quickest.
Dude, that's pretty cool.
Yeah, I was surprised, but the track went really well this morning. I just kind of got in the flow and couldn't stop. That's what it was like this morning.
I mean, you had that, and then Joey [Savatgy] I removed it, put another heater in and put it back in. I mean, if you can do it once, you can do it again, right?
Yeah, that was a good feeling. I got to the top, got back to second and got to the top again. So it wasn't just a hero lap. It was good.
What did you think about today's motocross? Top 10?
Yeah, I finished 10th overall. It's my first time in the top 10 as a pro. The class was solid, I think there were 18 factory guys. So for me it was a top 10 and my fourth time in a pro national, but my second this year. I'm happy with the result and I'm growing and I want to keep improving every weekend.
