MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (WBOY) — A man allegedly threatened two victims with a knife and then stole $40 and cigarettes from them.
According to a criminal complaint, on April 20, Morgantown Police Department officers received a call from a victim who said she wanted to press charges against 'Bald Vinnie' in an incident at an apartment on Spruce Street. I received it.
The victim told officers that he and another person were in the apartment when one of the residents, identified as Vincent Spiker, 33, of Morgantown, “kicked the bathroom door in.”
At that point, Spiker had a “kitchen knife” and threatened to “stab” the two men if they did not hand over money and drugs that he “believed Spiker had,” according to the complaint.
When the victim told Spiker he was clean and drug-free, Spiker “slapped him.” [him] and swung the knife [the victims’] face,” the officers said.
Spiker then took $40 from the kitchen sink and “stood in the hallway outside the door screaming for 10 to 15 minutes.” [the victims] The suit says it was to give him a break.
Spiker was charged with first-degree robbery. He is being held at the North Central Regional Jail.
