Adam Hadwin had a busy weekend. Not only is he taking on the best that Augusta National has to offer, he's also taking on the best that the Augusta rental market has to offer. Instead of practicing on the driving range or taking a moment to meditate, the PGA Tour winner spent the start of his Masters weekend tinkering with the sink in his rental house.
My wife is not happy and I can't leave the house with the kitchen broken. That bodes ill for the next 36 holes.
Posted: “I have a Masters tee time at noon, but first I need to check the structural integrity of my rental kitchen sink.'' Content Queen Jessica Hadwin.
It really looks like Adam Hadwin was under that sink the whole time, but according to Jessica, it didn't do much. Professionals are really just like us. All they want to do is play golf and have no intention of paying a handyman.
“I'm totally serious,” Jessica Hadwin continued. “After fumbling around under it, going outside to check the water supply, and finally calling the owner, we found out it was just a matter of holding your hand up or touching it in front of the sink.”
This is a very M. Night Shyamalan twist, and a tough break for Hadwins. Perhaps this will be good fitness and strength training for Adam. Stretch and forget about golf. It's no stranger than some of Bryson DeChambeau's antics this week. In fact, there's a good chance Bryson will be lugging his own rental sink around Augusta National today as well. As Friday's ANGC sign.
Special thanks to Adam Hadwin who did his best to keep everything running smoothly. And of course, shout out to Jessica Hadwin, who is always ready to chronicle her husband's trials and tribulations.
