Matthew Scott Moore, 42, got into an argument with Ronald Sanders on the afternoon of May 21 near Savannah's Candy Kitchen on Broadway.cent. Police officers nearby observed the fight, approached the area, spoke with witnesses, and reviewed footage of the incident. Officers determined that Mr. Moore had attacked Mr. Sanders, who suffered bleeding from his arm and scratches to his face. One witness advised them that Moore was acting “disorderly” and “causing trouble all day.” While restraining Moore, police said he smelled of alcohol and was “obviously under the influence of alcohol.” Moore was taken into custody on charges of assault, disorderly conduct and public intoxication.
Matthew Scott Moore, of Nashville, Tennessee, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on May 21 on charges of public intoxication, disorderly conduct, and assault. The Judicial Commissioner set his bail at $3,600 and the Davidson County Sheriff's Office released him from the facility prior to trial.
