BRYAN, Texas — Frida's Kitchen and Bar in Bryan offers a modern twist on authentic Mexican cuisine.
Here's what you can expect from the grand opening.
The restaurant concept was conceived as a passion project by Bryan resident Irma Paes, and quickly became a reality thanks to her friends and family.
The Paez family has worked together to create a space where Bryan's Hispanic community feels at home, and each dish resembles a traditional yet sophisticated version of what many of their families grew up with.
General Manager Yolanda Alvarez said, “Everything our chefs prepare for our community is exquisite from top to bottom. We prepare authentic Mexican cuisine with over 27 ingredients.” Told.
They want Frida's to be a center of comfort and togetherness.
“We felt it was really important to get this out to the community, because we have been here for so long that we have had experiences similar to ours, and people who have left Mexico or South America , because I've met so many people who just adore that aspect of themselves, so by providing an authentic flavor especially for them, this community feels like it's theirs too.'' Brandon Paes, son and co-owner of Irma Paes, explained.
We have our grand opening this Saturday and can't wait to show Brian our colors.

Frida's Kitchen & Bar is located at 3700 S Texas Avenue in Bryan.
