OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — The Homeless Alliance is seeking donations to fund kitchen renovations and refrigerator repairs at a northwest Oklahoma City day shelter to continue serving breakfast and lunch to guests.
The day shelter serves an average of 376 guests each day and prepared more than 103,000 meals for the homeless last year, according to the Homeless Coalition.
To fund renovations to the shelter's kitchen and replacement of the condensers in its walk-in refrigerators, the coalition has launched the Fix Our Fridge Campaign with a goal of raising $30,000 by July 31.
