Great news for fans of Olga's Kitchen!
The past decade hasn't been easy for Olga's Kitchen. In 2015, the Michigan-based Mediterranean restaurant chain filed for bankruptcy. Since then, several locations have closed, including one at Woodlands Mall in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
But later this month, customers in three more Michigan cities will be able to enjoy Olga's Kitchen's famous snackers, gyros, salads and spinach pies.
Olga's Kitchen has partnered with Big Boy to expand into three new cities.
According to the Detroit Free Press, Big Boy restaurants in Battle Creek, Muskegon and Midland will serve as Olga's “host kitchens,” and select items from the Olga's menu will be available for delivery or takeout ordering through Olgas.com and third-party apps.

- Battle Creek Big begins July 24 at 2183 W. Columbia.
Olga's Kitchen was founded in Birmingham, Michigan in 1970 by Olga Loizon, who passed away in 2019 at the age of 92.
“Olga's Kitchen is a global leader in food and beverage, and we are thrilled to partner with them to bring this exciting new restaurant to the market,” Ryan Jones, current vice president of Olga's Kitchen, said in a statement.
“Big Boy has a proven track record of delighting customers in Midland, Muskegon and Battle Creek, and we believe they are the perfect partner to bring customers in these markets the Mediterranean flavors that our fans crave, made from the same fresh ingredients we use in our other locations.”
While most of Olga's locations are on the eastern side of the state, Olga opened a fast-casual restaurant in Comstock Park near Grand Rapids in 2021.
