Pink has definitely been everyone's lip color this past year.the aftermath of barbie Influenced by the movie, bright, poppy colors became popular everywhere from clothing to accessories, and the trend naturally carried over into the home.
Paris Hilton, a longtime proponent of decorating in pink, is the latest celebrity to take advantage of the vibrant hue by incorporating a dusty rose shade into her kitchen cabinets. The result is a warm and cozy space with a feminine feel.
While hot pink definitely fits in with the big Barbiecore trend, experts point out that choosing a more muted shade can fit smoothly into the more elegant, mature design trend. In fact, some are even going so far as to call it the “new neutral,” and in this case, you can see why.
“Rose pink injects a fresh, contemporary feel into your walls and is the perfect pairing with wall paneling, another hot interior trend,” says Rebecca Snowden, Interior Style Advisor at Furniture and Choice . “This stylish pairing also creates the perfect color-drenched backdrop, where everything in the room is the same color, creating a colorful monochrome space.”
According to Snowden, pink is a great alternative to common kitchen colors and is actually a very luxurious choice.
“We're also big fans of how rose pink interiors and wall panels fit into the quiet luxury trend,” she says. “Choosing pink instead of the usual whites, grays, and creams can create an understated, sophisticated look. Pops of color are even more appealing. From the plush curves of the sofa to the classics of the wall panels, It’s all about highlighting the details of the room, right down to the lines.”

This will be welcome news for long-time pink lovers, but for those just starting out, Snowden says the color can actually be considered a cozy neutral and therefore be styled accordingly. I admit it.
“Styling plaster pink with other warm, earthy neutral tones creates the feeling of being enveloped in a luxurious cocoon,” explains Snowden. “Relaxation always has a soft feel to it, so choose colors like grey, charcoal, beige and brown. Stick to pinks and earth-toned neutrals to act as wall color and accessory color choices. Color blocking may be the trick. When styling, prioritize comfort and think about what makes you feel refreshed.”
