The opening marks the chain's first store in Augusta, Georgia.
Parker's Kitchen recently held a grand opening celebration at the first Parker's location in Augusta, Georgia. Local dignitaries in attendance included Augusta Mayor Garnet Johnson, Augusta Metro Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Sue Parr, and Columbia County Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Russell Lahodny.
The new store offers award-winning Southern-inspired foods, quality fuel and more. Located at 3661 Mike Padgett Hwy., the store has been a hit with locals, commuters and tourists since opening on May 22nd.
“Augusta is a growing and exciting place,” said Greg Parker, founder and CEO of Parker's Kitchen, who officially cut the ribbon at the grand opening of the company's newest store in Augusta, Ga. “We're so honored to be part of the community and have seen such a great response from our customers in the Augusta area.”
In addition to fresh food served for breakfast, lunch and dinner, dine-in, take-out food options and electronic kiosk ordering are also available. Popular items include hand-breaded Southern Fried Chicken Tenders, signature Macaroni & Cheese, Potato Logs, Parker's Kitchen Spicy Chicken Tender Sandwiches and freshly prepared salads.
All Parker's Kitchen menu items are handmade in-house by local chefs using fresh ingredients.
Other highlights include gourmet bean-to-cup coffee, freshly brewed sweet and unsweetened teas, fancy lemonades, 28-proof beers and a variety of fountain drinks made with signature Parker's Kitchen Chewy Ice.
The attractive store design features Parker's Kitchen's signature Lowcountry architecture with a modern contemporary glass front facade, lime-washed brick, beautiful brackets, designer lighting and clean restrooms. The new store offers 19 fuel dispensers that carry regular, mid-grade, premium, diesel, ethanol-free, truck diesel and DEF fuels.
Parker's Kitchen currently operates 88 locations in Georgia and South Carolina and plans to double its number of locations across the Southeast over the next four years. The company is currently in the midst of a major expansion into new markets including Augusta, Georgia; Aiken, South Carolina; Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; and Jacksonville, Florida.
Each new store in the industry provides 25-30 jobs to local residents and offers a highly competitive wage and benefits package, and Parker's Kitchen employs 75-85 contractors to build each new store in the Metro Augusta area.
Parker's was named the 2020 CStore Decisions Chain of the Year.
