Pesto's was founded in 2004 as a quaint pizza joint in Chandler and has undergone a major transformation to evolve into a beloved Italian kitchen.
Ten years into their journey, Frank and Debbie Taurisano have expanded their dining room, isolated their kitchen, and created a variety of Italian dishes, from basic pizza to savory ziti, eggplant dishes, and an innovative broccoli Caesar salad. We started serving food. The personal touch of the family is evident, with her three children Noah, Roxanne and Reed contributing at the bar and in the kitchen, creating a true family-run atmosphere.
The restaurant's ambience is further enhanced by Debbie's handcrafted candles, which exude the signature Italian scent of lemon and thyme, and a dessert menu featuring the popular tiramisu and extensive wine selection. Frank's focus is on menus that are rooted in tradition but brimming with creativity, serving standout dishes such as our famous lasagna in a warm atmosphere.
“Please pay the bill! Arizona” guest Donald Lopez praised the broccoli Caesar salad as incomparable and said the carrot cake was a must-have dessert.
Another guest, Sue Sisley, was fascinated by the cauliflower dish, found the pepperoni pizza with pesto and mushrooms to be “absolutely amazing”, and praised the carrot cake as “divine”.
Anise Laws praised the hot chilli-honey wings with sambuca sauce, calling them “delicious, meaty wings and a very unique flavour,” and was delighted with the linguine with clam sauce.
These reviews highlight that Pesto's is a place where culinary creativity, family values, and Italian tradition come together seamlessly. Lopez said it is also an ideal location for those seeking a romantic dining atmosphere, further highlighting the restaurant's diverse appeal.
