The U.S. Food and Drug Administration announced that Primal Kitchen is voluntarily recalling approximately 2,060 cases of avocado oil because the glass could break and pose a safety risk.
The Oxnard, Calif.-based company said some of the products are fragile and could potentially release oil.
According to the FDA, the voluntary recall comes after the company announced online that it discovered the problem through surveillance at Primal Kitchen's warehouse.
“Avocado oil was found to have leaked inside the shipping container,” Primal Kitchen wrote in the recall.
As of Monday, no consumer injuries or illnesses related to the recall had been reported.
