Milford, Delaware — The graduation ceremony hosted by the Delaware Food Bank was both emotional and celebratory. students from Tuesday Kitchen School Program.
The goal of the Kitchen School program, in partnership with the Delaware Restaurant Association, is to provide adults with disabilities with specialized training that will hopefully lead to employment opportunities.

Shalisa Alexander, a chef instructor at the Delaware Food Bank, emphasized the comprehensive nature of the program, saying, “We teach them not just work skills, but life skills, how to interview, how to work in a kitchen.
