Two excellent Asian restaurants have recently transformed an unassuming strip mall in Ardsley into a worthy dining destination: Neung Thai Kitchen and, opening July 5, Ramen Musashi.
Opening in late 2022, Neung Thai Kitchen is a small family-run restaurant serving exceptionally fresh Thai food. First-time restaurateur Chalermravee Yamsiriwong (a former teacher who goes by the nickname Neung) is particular about high-quality ingredients and is willing to travel for authentic spices and seasonings.

The takeaway arrives piping hot and tastes like it was made with care.
Now Neung Thai Kitchen will have a new neighbor: Ramen Musashi, a popular Scarsdale Japanese eatery, will open an Ardsley location next door.
Paul Roos, who co-owns Ramen Musashi with head chef Hiro Teraki and Jin Miyawaki, said he and his partners had been looking to expand and knew many of their customers were from the Rivertowns. “So we just kind of thought, let's give it a go,” he said.
Scarsale's Ramen Musha-shi opened behind the long-established Fuji Mart in 2016. The new Ardsley store will also feature a miniature version of Fuji Mart and will stock some of the original store's best-selling products: “It's a little retail section with Japanese snacks and sweets, cute stuffed animals and toys,” Ruth said.
