A restaurant co-owner said “the evidence is clear” as to why Ric Flair was asked to leave the restaurant.
WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair said on Twitter on May 5 that he spent $1,500 at Piethanos Stone Fired Pizza restaurant in Gainesville, Florida. He claimed that he was more disrespected than ever before in his life. Flair wrote that after taking 20 photos with customers and staff, he was asked to leave because the kitchen manager was having an issue with him taking too long in the restroom.
Flair said people who want to enjoy Gainesville's fine restaurants should avoid it.
I spent $1500 on @PiesanosSFP To be despised more than ever before in my life. After taking 20 photos with customers and staff, we were asked to leave due to an issue with the kitchen manager staying in the toilet too long. Highly recommend it…

Alan Fest of the Gainesville Sun later wrote that Piethanos co-owner Jerry Roberts said “the evidence is clear” regarding the decision to ask Ric Flair to leave the restaurant. Mr. Roberts also issued the following statement:
“We have reviewed the video of a recent incident at our restaurant. It is clear that our team worked in a professional manner to ensure the safety of our guests and staff. We would like to thank our team for their professionalism. I'm grateful to Rhythm and I'm proud of how they responded to this situation by utilizing and demonstrating our team's values.”
Additionally, Roberts said he has no plans to release the video.
