FAIRFIELD, Conn. — The Ricci brothers, Maurizio and Graziano, may have grown up in Italy, but it's safe to say they've definitely made Fairfield County their home.
This month, the brothers opened their seventh Italian restaurant in Fairfield County, the new Romanacci Craft Bar & Kitchen at 116 Post Road in Fairfield.

The brothers have two Romanacci locations in Norwalk, Trumbull and Westport. In addition, the brothers operate his two Osteria Romana restaurants in Norwalk and Monroe.
The new Fairfield location will serve “excellent coffee, panini sandwiches, pizza and pastries,” as well as an Italian take on the Spanish tapas called piatto, which are small meat, fish and pasta dishes designed to be shared. We also provide things.
Maurizio Ricci told Patch that opening the Fairfield store was a long-awaited goal of his and Graziano's because they have always loved the community.
“We tried to open a store in Fairfield seven or eight years ago, but we couldn't find a location,” Maurizio said. “We've always had a soft spot in our hearts for Fairfield.”
The Fairfield store is located in a 2,000-square-foot space that previously housed Fairfield Social, and Maurizio said it's exactly the location the brothers were looking for.
“We wanted to keep an intimate and warm atmosphere,” he says of the interior, which includes wall panels made from wood from pallets carrying wine produced at the Ricci family's vineyards in Italy's Veneto region. Told.
These wines, which span the entire range of reds and whites, are available exclusively in Romanacci stores.
This week, the brothers held an official ribbon cutting at the Fairfield venue, with local officials in attendance.
