This week's quiz: On March 9th, I asked a question about the article “Paris Olympics Opening Ceremony to be scaled back to provide 326,000 tickets.'' Earlier in the week, French Interior Minister Gerard Darmanin announced the exact number of tickets for the opening ceremony at 326,000, a significant reduction from the original 600,000. The reduction in size is due to security concerns.
Remember that this is the first time that the Olympic opening ceremony will be held outdoors instead of in a sports arena. And on the water, at that!
You can refer to our article and answer the following questions: How many boats will sail during the ceremony? How many of those boats will have athletes participating?
The answer isTo quote our article: “A total of 180 boats will travel approximately 6 kilometers down the Seine, 94 of which will carry athletes.”
In addition to the quiz questions, there was also a bonus question suggested by Alan Holder from the Isle of Wight, England. Give an example of steps you would take to avoid bad luck. ”
Have ideas for bonus questions? Send them to us!
