Gymnast and Olympic medalist Simone Biles' home proves that adding a little texture to a white kitchen can go a long way. The award-winning athlete shared photos of her crisp, clean kitchen on her Instagram page, where the white-painted cabinets blend perfectly with the greige walls and oatmeal-colored tile floors.
A white kitchen certainly gives a modern and clean impression, but without variety in the materials used, it can also look flat.

“If you have crisp white or cream-colored kitchen cabinets, you can choose a contrasting walnut finish for the racks and shelves,” he says. “Choose a smoky wood finish for the interior shelves to create a stylish feel.”
Finally, don't be afraid to subtly incorporate contrasting darker neutral colors into your white kitchen.
“Adding black or brown accents to a white kitchen won't make the space completely dark; in fact, it will simply outline the lighter colors that make up the base of the room,” she explains.
