But demand for its services far exceeds its current production capacity of 100,000 meals a year. The new, larger kitchen, located in a former auto dealership, includes equipment with expanded cooking capacity and enhanced kitchen infrastructure with additional refrigerators to store freshly prepared meals. “This expansion is a pivotal moment for the Teen Kitchen Project,” said Amanda Rotella, TKP Board Chair. “We will do more than simply meet demand. The new facility will include a client resource center and teaching kitchen to support the expansion of nutrition and culinary education for both our clients and the broader community.
