So what does this mean for 2024? We asked Pinterest's Global Trends and Insights Lead Sydney Stanback about the five home decor trends she predicts for next year. 2024 is all about expressing your individuality through home decor ideas and embracing vibrant and unique spaces, marking a shift away from modest interior styles.
“Our housing trends this year are really moving away from traditional home aesthetics to more expressive and bold spaces,” Sydney explains.
1. Kitchen

The first home decor trend revealed by Pinterest is conveying a “kitschy” aesthetic to your kitchen. Sidney predicts that kitchens in 2024 will be rooms full of character, with retro colors and playful designs.
