Most household items we own today are made in one of two or three ways. If it's made of plastic, it's likely injection molded; if it's metal, it's cast or rolled/stamped into a unique shape. These methods will ultimately define what the product will look like. Injection molded plastic parts don't look as complex as 3D printed mesh parts. Also, stamped metal cookware doesn't have the elegance of a Snapsys tray set. Designed using a series of strategic origami-style bends, the Snapsys tray and table platform set is deceptively simple in appearance, but perfectly designed and manufactured. Each item is made from a single sheet of 0.8 mm metal that is creased, bent and anodized. The result is a kitchen utensil set that is incredibly slim, yet equally strong, thanks to the stiffening properties of the folds.

The Snapsys tray and table set is an “origami-style folding plate” that is 0.8mm thick (about the same as a credit card).
The Snapsys set has three tray styles that also serve as decorative tabletop platforms for displaying food. Most trays look awfully ordinary, but considering the unique manufacturing techniques of Snapsys sets, this tray collection doesn't have that problem. The tray looks incredibly thin, almost like it's going to break. It's only 0.8mm thick (about the same as a credit card), but thanks to its folding structure, it's surprisingly durable and can carry more than enough weight without bending or bending.

Please use it as a service tray.

The secret lies in the origami-style folds that strengthen the tray while creating a memorable design. The fold line is not regular, but follows a curve, and the metal sheet can also be bent in a curve. This helps strengthen the metal and make it harder instead of brittle. Try the same technique with paper and observe how the curved folds help make the paper even more rigid.
Some trays have a traditional look with handles on both sides. Some come with legs that allow you to raise your food an inch or two, making it stand out against a laid out table. All trays have anodized color options that not only add vibrancy to your tabletop decor, but also allow the tray itself to act as an accent piece. The anodized finish also increases durability and corrosion resistance, increasing overall lifespan. Tray sets start at a discounted price of $149 in black, yellow, blue, or nude silver. This includes three trays: one rectangular tray, one oval tray, and one half-plate tray.
