The 22-year-old frequently posts her own recipes on TikTok to her 8.7 million followers.
While many have praised the social media star for her creativity, others claim she's “always in the kitchen” and “unemployed.”
Nara responded to the comments in a TikTok video on Monday.
“I never thought that finding joy and cooking for my husband and kids would automatically mean slaving in the kitchen, not having a job and having to mobilize an entire production team to make it happen,” she said.
“To be honest, none of that is true.
“I'm a working mom and cooking has always been a big part of my life.”
She went on to reveal that her journey began after she was diagnosed with lupus, claiming that she had to change her diet and lifestyle habits.
After addressing critics, Nara spoke about a trip to New York with her newborn daughter, Wimsey.
Fans responded to Nara's rebuttal in the comments section, offering their full support to the mother of three.
“Coldest comeback ever,” commented the Cetaphil Canada TikTok account, while another said, “She punched you all oh my god.”
“Thank you for clarifying that you're a working mom. We admire you for making a living doing what you love,” one user wrote.

In the video, she says that Lucky wouldn't let Nala pack her bags when she was preparing for a trip to New York.
She and Lucky met in 2019 and began dating after exchanging direct messages on social media.
Lucky lived in Los Angeles, while Nara grew up in Germany and lived there.
The two hit it off and eventually met for the first time in Milan, Italy, where Nara landed a modeling job.
In 2020, the two got engaged and married on the same weekend.
The couple had a small beach wedding on February 21, 2020, six months after they started dating.
Nala and Lucky have since had three children together, including a daughter from a previous relationship.
When talking about raising their children, Nala was candid about the influence of religion, as her husband was raised Mormon.
“I don't know what I'm doing. I'm still learning and trying to find my faith,” Nara admitted.
“I've never been a devout Mormon. I don't wear the garment and I wasn't married in the temple.
“My husband and I are both on our own paths and figuring out how we want to raise our children.”
