KUALA LUMPUR (June 14): Tropicana Corp Bhd (KL: TROP) has announced a partnership with Samsung Malaysia Electronics Sdn Bhd to offer artificial intelligence (AI) home appliances in its future developments.
According to a press statement on Thursday, the home appliances will be sourced from Samsung's Bespoke AI collection, which includes refrigerators, washing machines, air conditioners and vacuum cleaners.
According to the statement, these home appliances will help in AI-driven energy management with tailored recommendations based on personal behavior and seamless integration with various smart devices.
Commenting on the partnership, Tropicana CEO Ong Chow Wen said: “This joint effort aims to combine Tropicana's quality property development expertise with Samsung's high-performance, energy-efficient appliances to provide homeowners with a seamless living experience. Together, we are committed to delivering homes that offer unparalleled comfort, convenience and sustainability.”
The statement further emphasized that the collaboration is in line with Tropicana's Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) goals, which include cultivating local communities, protecting the environment and building sustainable partnerships with stakeholders.
