Phillip Pasco Clark (DOB May 10, 1990) of Los Angeles and Santana Jermaine Kelly (DOB March 27, 1974) of Palmdale are charged with murder and conspiracy, respectively, in Case 24CJCF01997. They have each been charged with one count. Kelly also faces a felony charge of arson of another's property.
The defendants pleaded not guilty at their arraignments on March 26, 2024, in Department 30 of the Clara Shortridge Foltz Criminal Justice Center. Their preliminary hearings are scheduled for April 25, 2024 in Department 50 of the same court.
On November 28, 2023, at approximately 6:15 p.m., the victim was sitting alone at the counter at Fixin's Soul Kitchen, located at 800 West Olympic Boulevard, part of the Los Angeles Live Entertainment complex. Kelly and Clark are being held on bail of $3.06 million and $4.06 million, respectively.
If convicted as charged, Kelly faces a maximum sentence of 100 years to life in prison. Clark faces a maximum sentence of 85 years to life in prison.
