We all enjoy snacking on our road trips. From snacks like chips and samosas to stopping to eat at highway dhabas, any road trip seems incomplete without a delicious food adventure. But have you ever heard of someone installing an entire kitchen in the trunk of their car? A recent video circulating on Instagram showcases one such unique example. The text at the top of the video is “hamare charte filte gar ka kitchen”. In the video, a man explains how to install a kitchen in his car before leaving for a trip to Uttarakhand, while a woman demonstrates the entire setup.
First, the video shows a single burner. Chulha [stove], according to the background audio, this is enough for two people. Additionally, there is a portable butane stove. The space under the gas stove is stocked with items such as milk, flour, spices and biscuits. There is also a mixer for making drinks such as coffee and lassi. Another compartment stores food items such as lentils, tea leaves, sugar, and oil. Right next to it is another section filled with dishes. Two liter water bottles are placed on either side of the car's kitchen. Finally, there is also a basket for storing fruits and vegetables.
