Foodiehall, a Cherry Hill-based virtual kitchen serving a variety of cuisines, has permanently closed.
In a message posted on the E-Restaurant website, owner Dan Golberg did not provide specific reasons for the June 15 closure but called it a “difficult decision.”
Foodie Hole opened in February 2022 as a take-out and delivery-only venture in the Olney Avenue business park. In September 2023, an indoor dining space was added, where customers can order from any of 10 available food concepts, including world-famous Geno's Steaks and Jersey Shore staple Junior's Donuts.
Goldberg further wrote: “I want to thank our staff, past and present, who have been so important to our business. Without you all, Foodiehall would not exist. In 2021, we created a delivery and takeaway only, multi-concept food hall with the aim of changing the way people think about food delivery.”
“We achieved it thanks to several talented culinary professionals, a sophisticated ordering system and tech stack, and a lot of support from Foodiehall fans. We want to thank everyone who has dined with us – whether it was delivery, takeaway, dine-in, catering or walk-in,” Goldberg said, adding that he was “sad to say goodbye.”
FoodieHall's lineup includes FH Steak, Simply Foul, Canting Wok & Noodle Bar, Danick's Craft Burgers, Chris Crust, Dando Tacos, Mac & Toasty, Fornile Italian Kitchen, and S5, a sandwich brand from James Beard Award-nominated chef Silva Senatto, who became FoodieHall's executive chef last year.
Foodie Hall did not immediately respond to a request for comment on the closure.
