According to court records, the suspects are accused of conspiring with minors to steal merchandise from stores in Chandler, Goodyear, Surprise and Phoenix.
PHOENIX — A woman was arrested this week after allegedly stealing appliances from Valley retail stores over the past six months, according to court records.
Mahogany Gaines, 27, faces multiple criminal charges in connection to more than 10 thefts at multiple Target, Kohl's and Costco stores.
Gaines is accused of using false documents to purchase $15,000 vehicles from dealers and then using the vehicles to commit organized retail thefts throughout the Phoenix area.
According to court records, the suspect is accused of conspiring with teenage accomplices to steal blenders, mixers, vacuum cleaners, cooking utensils and clothing over a period of several months.
Gaines told police he stole the items to resell online, with the suspect keeping 50 percent of the proceeds. He was booked into the Maricopa County Jail on July 16.
