NOTTINGHAM, Md. — A new home décor and international food store has opened in Nottingham.
This is the first World Market store in Baltimore County and is located on Avenue in White Marsh. This is also his second World Market in Maryland. The other is in Rockville. Headquartered in California, World Market has 239 stores in 38 states.

“World Market is excited to open our second store in Maryland,” World Market President Eric Hunter said in an April 20 press release. “We believe THE AVENUE at White Marsh is the perfect location to introduce our unique brand to the Baltimore region, and we look forward to growing our customer base here for years to come. .”
The Avenue announced Monday that World Market is now open.A ribbon cutting will begin the grand opening at 10 a.m. Thursday.
Customers who complete their first 100 transactions each day Thursday through Sunday will receive a free tote bag. Food and drink samples, giveaways and more will be available to all guests throughout the weekend.
“World Market's doors are open! Come inside and take a look at our beautiful new store!” The Avenue revealed on Facebook on Monday.
World Market sells everything from sofas to Japanese sweets.
Vanessa Farmer Rush She often visited World Market when she lived in the South. The only thing she misses is the alcohol corner, which is banned in Baltimore County.
“I love this store,” Rush wrote on Facebook Monday. “My dining table, which I bought at World Market 22 years ago, has withstood several moves and is still going strong.” Ta. “The store I used to go to when I lived in Alabama had a great wine and beer selection.”
Perry Hall resident Jenny Stout shares her excitement.
“Whenever I went to visit my mother in Arizona, I always had to go to World Market,” Stout said on Facebook Monday. ”[I’m] It's so nice to have locals now. ”
World Market is located at 8115 – D Honeygo Blvd and measures over 15,000 square feet. It's next to J.Crew.
World Market is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday hours are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
