Liv Morgan defends the WWE SmackDown Women's Championship against Ronda Rousey in an Extreme Rules match at the eponymous 2022 premium live event, complete with fire extinguishers, steel chairs, tables and more did. Morgan ultimately lost this match, but one of the skills she learned there later turned out to be extremely useful during a real-life terrifying ordeal. On an episode of “Insight with Chris Van Vleet,” courtesy of her former WWE colleague CJ Perry, Morgan detailed the recent series of events that occurred after a kitchen oven caught fire.

“So like two weeks ago, I'm flying home from Monday Night Raw and CJ is staying at my house,” Morgan said. “We're best friends, so she's staying at my house. She's like, 'Do you want tacos?'” And I'm like, “Yeah.” So she wanted to toast the taco shells a little, so she put them in the oven and, in typical her CJ fashion, baked them instead of baking them. I don't know if you know what pottery is, but pottery is like fire. We thought, “Oh my god,'' because the oven was on fire. I know I have a fire extinguisher, but I only know how to use one thanks to the 2022 Extreme Rules. I swear, in that moment, you're like, “Thank you, wrestling.” So I turned off the oven, and it came back on, and I was like, “Oh my god.'' So I put out the fire again and that was it. ”

After the fire was completely extinguished, Morgan found herself and Perry tasked with cleaning up the fire extinguisher residue spread across the kitchen floor. To accomplish this, Morgan and Perry scrubbed each floor tile vigorously with a toothbrush.
“There was no damage,” Morgan said. “We cleaned it up, and it just became a funny moment.”
