Smeg has launched some great new products this season, including espresso machines, portable induction stoves, and countertop ovens. I love them all, but actually my favorite is the scale, which is one of the most discreet products.
Smeg digital scales are a kitchen staple. A stylish design that combines a vintage silhouette with precision technology. Available in classic colors with a premium stainless steel finish. Delicate, easy to use, and neatly designed, what's not to like?
These are a must if you want your kitchen to look more luxurious. Everything you need to know, including 20% off.
What is a Smeg digital scale? Why would you want one?

Smeg knows exactly how to make practicality beautiful. The brand has never made a digital scale before, but looking at this one makes you think that they have been making it since the brand's founding.
The digital scale features all of Smeg's signature details, including curved edges, chrome finish, and classic color. They come in white, black, and emerald green sets, all with a matte finish.
If you like a kitchen that not only looks good but also tastes good, you need these. Not only is it more of a design piece, but it's also very practical.

You'll be happy to know that these scales can boast both brains and beauty. Comes with a removable stainless steel bowl with 11 lb capacity. The usefulness of this cannot be overstated. Add flour and carry it across the kitchen to a bowl or stand mixer. No need to mess up the container or always zero out sets of the same scale.
This design isn't particularly innovative. In fact, my grandmother's scale worked on the same principle (though of course it didn't have a digital LCD screen). I'm glad Smeg brought this design back. Because I used it 20 years ago and it was great. I've been looking for a quality replica of that design ever since.
Of course, the scale is cordless, but if you want to enjoy the LCD display, you'll need to connect the USB charging cable (included) to the set. You can use the scale even while it's charging, so you'll never run out.
The digital interface can convert between four different units of measurement (g/ml lb.oz/fl.oz). This means you can work on any recipe without contaminating other utensils in your kitchen. You can also use the tare function if you want to weigh multiple ingredients into a bowl at once.

Since these are newly launched, they are not yet available at common third-party retailers. I'm sure it will arrive in the next few months, but for now, your best bet is to buy directly from Smeg or from Tattahome. Details of each retailer are as follows.
