The actors who appeared in Avatar, guardian of the galaxyand upcoming Spanish-language films Emilia PerezThe actress, who just made her debut at the Cannes Film Festival, recently posted a photo back at her home in California, where the two symmetrical glass-front cabinets are the ultimate blend of function and fashion, and the cabinets are painted Contains white tableware that matches the decorated exterior.
Similar to open shelving, glass-fronted kitchen cabinets allow you to display items like dishes and utensils instead of hiding them behind dark painted doors.
“By using glass instead of an opaque material like wood, you can not only show off your hand-picked items, but also open up your kitchen,” she explains. Homes & Gardens Editor Jennifer Ebert.
For this reason, glass cabinets are a great hack for small kitchens, but as Saldana proves, they look just as stylish in larger kitchens, making them a staple when brainstorming kitchen ideas.

When it comes to what goes inside your cabinets, Evert recommends choosing and combining items you use every day with items that look good and can't be found anywhere else.
“If your cabinet is next to your oven, like Saldana does, consider putting your pots and pans in it,” she says. “However, if your cabinet is near your refrigerator, it might make more sense to put bowls, plates, and glassware inside it. If it's the former, try showing off a Dutch oven or similarly sturdy cookware. If it's the latter, please show me a colored glass or ceramic bowl.
Evert recommends varying the size and shape of pieces behind the cabinets to maintain visual interest. Saldana accomplished this with bowls and plates of various sizes. As the actress demonstrates, we can show off more of our personality with cookbooks (or any other book we want to bring into the kitchen). This is a more intimate way to introduce color into a space that might otherwise only display neutral colors (as is the case with this primarily white-painted space).
